Dr. Annie Barnes
Welcome to our practice. I love getting to know our community one patient at a time. Effective communication is essential to providing outstanding care. I strive to answer every question and make sure each patient is fully aware of their options for their care. I look forward to serving the Davis community for years to come.
Education and Experience
After completing my undergraduate work at Sacramento State, I earned my Doctor of Dental Surgery degree from Loma Linda University in 2001. In the years since, I have practiced in Southern California, Wyoming and, most recently, in Sacramento for almost a decade.
In addition to my formal education, I am enthusiastic about keeping current with evolving techniques and best practices in patient care through continuing education. I have attained additional training in implant placement and restoration including the Preceptorship in Implantology at University of Texas-San Antonio and advanced implant surgery techniques at the Zimmer Biomet Institute, as well as full mouth reconstruction with renowned expert Dr. Jim Downs and temporal joint disorders and treatment at the Spear Institute. I believe that continuing education enables me to provide the best possible treatment options for my patients.
Outside the Office
In my free time, I enjoy traveling, trying new restaurants, and spending time with my family. I also enjoy gardens and museums. Outside of dentistry, my dream job would be to be a docent at the Huntington Library and Gardens.
